I just installed a super 40 on my truck and it sounds BAD ***. Setup?? Do you mean like where the pipes exit?? For that its all personal preferance. Your best bet in my experience, is just to go to a local muffler shop and tell them what you want and get a quote. You should go to the "Which Exhaust, Get Others Opinions Here" link. Its got TONS of information, about this.

Here I got the link for ya https://dodgeforum.com/m_835725/tm.htm

lol. I think since they condensed the stickies we're getting more exhaust questions in the regular forum and not the specified post.

That being said, I'm not exactly sure what you're asking for concerning the pipes. Are you just trying to buy pipes seperate??? Don't do that, find a shop around your town to install the muffler for you, and weld everything up. I paid $245 for my setup out the door, muffler, pipes, tips, and install, and the 50 series HD is a little more expensive than the 40, so I would suggest to shop around town first before you start to think about buying on eBay. I know depending on where you live, you might have a hard time finding something at a decent price, and then, and only then, go online and buy.

Just my .02

Edit:
lol, sorry Rob, I just skimmed through your post and basically said the same as you! Ha, you beat me to the punch again...

I have got the same exact muffler. a flowmaster 40 series si/do with a 3 in inlet and dual 2 1/2 in outlets. I originally had dual pipes running straight out of the back that a local muffler shop did for 250(out the door with muffler and all). After hearing my friends tundra with the same set up except that his were dumped with two turn downs after the muffler, I went to the muffler shop and had them weld two turn downs and i love it. i would never switch back to pipes. sounds really deep while you can still carry on a conversation in the cab.
