Default Unexplained "lamp out" light

Man I'm about to go crazy! I have a 2003 Dodge QC 2500 4x4 and the "lamp out" light has been coming off and on and dinging like crazy for a couple of weeks now. There are NO lights out anywhere that I can find. I took the truck to a dealer and they could not find the problem either. Meanwhile, I'm driving around with a headache having to listen to this thing. Has anybody else had this problem and how did you resolve it? Any help would be appreciated.

Here is a link man, I was having the exact same problem, and Iknow how damn aggravating it can be. Hope this helps any more questions just ask. BTW I also used "bulb grease" to protect the connections after I had scraped off the black crud.. https://dodgeforum.com/m_1052711/tm.htm

X2.....derfinately this printed circuit board and it's contacts along with the bulbs, that are corroded and dirty.
Scrape the contacts clean and put a little electrical contact cleaner, say WD40 in there.
You will have no more problems.
The bulb grease is great as well.

Same problem happened to me. After a few days of the warning going on and off, one of the bulbs on my tail light burned out.

the taillight module sometimes goes bad in our trucks, also if you put a say 3057 in a socket but the truck calls for a 3157 it could throw that light.... i have also seen aftermarket headlight and foglight bulbs throw that light too......

Thanks to all of you guys for all the helpful information! I ended up dropping by the dealer again and picked up some new bulbs and two new circuit boards (about 70.00 total), once installed with some electrical grease, PROBLEM SOLVED!! Yippee!! I think it could of been any of the issues you guys pointed out, but I thought I'd go with a little overkill and it worked so it was worth the money to get rid of the annoyance... Thanks again
