It's a HEMI kinda Christmas...
Thought I'd say "Hi" to everyone; I played Santa to myself this year, and came home with a 2008 Ram 1500 Sport. Flame red paint, 20" rims, 5.7L HEMI..... so of course, I haven't spent enough money on it yet. After throwing some bed rails and nerf bars on it, I'll be in the market for a few more mods (brush guard, cold air intake, exhaust, a tuner, mebbe a graphic or two). Glad to find a place where everyone is sharing the love and the info. I've been on forums like these for years for my high-performance waverunners, now I have something else to spend money on.
So why did I get the Ram? Well, it's about time for a new car. I'm a travel nurse, and I move around every few months, and it's hard to pack it all in a Monte Carlo SS. Plus, I was pulling 2 big waverunners this year, and the SS just isn't enough tow vehicle for the both of them. I was planning on waiting until my income tax return, but with the$8K rebateson the Ram, I think the time was right to buy. Combining the rebate with the employee discount (5% under dealer invoice) I was able to get through my cousin, that knocked $13K off of the sticker price. How could I say "No" to that?
Anyone looking to buy a 2000 Monte Carlo SS?

Is the sport already leveled? It looks like your truck has already been leveled... Maybe it's just the pics, but it doesn't look like it has the nose down stance as every other stock truck...
