I guess the topic mostly says it all...I just bought the truck a few days ago, its an 07 and had 6000 miles on it. Today when I put it into reverse and gave it just a little gas it kind of fell out of gear? And the little square around the R on the column disappeared too. I just shifted it into neutral than back to reverse and it worked alright. It did it 3 times out of about 6 that I put it into reverse. I guess Im gonna bring it back to the dealer but has anyone heard of this happening?

 

TSB 18-035-07 is a flash update - should fix it. Search the forum archives under "TSB - Reverse slipping issue" and "2007 Hemi reverse problems."

mine does the same thing as well, i thought it was something that i was doing, thanks guys

 

I put a floor shifter in my truck and had to play with the cable adustment until I got it right.

 

Got mine reprogrammed today. After couple of tries seems to be fixed.....

 

I have the same problem I even posted a smiliar post. I think it would be best to take both out trucks to the Dealer and have it looked at

 

Do it while its under warranty.

 

mine did the same thing. brought it back to the dealer and there was an ecu update. They re-programmed it and hasnt did it since.

 

Mine also does the same thing... It's been happining ever since I bought the truck. It happens so rarely I forget to mention it to the dealer when I have it serviced!
