Default Need help on 4wd please
Hi, everyone. if you know what it is please help me. i have 2004 dodge ram 1500 slt
today i was driving on highway on 4x4 it was snowing and something happenned it feels like i hit the wall than i've heard the noise like metal breaking and flying out after it i got SERV 4WD indicator on. now my truck using what he wants 2WD 4HI or 4LO or neutral during driving it always changing it. by disconecting battery i locked it some how on 4HI but i'm unable to change it now nad SERV 4WD still on
do u know what i should do?

Transfer case issue I would guess, only advice I can give is to take it to the dealer.

Not really sure. It sounds like you have an automatic 4WD system, as opposed to a manual...You might want to PM Either HemiYellow, or HammerZ and maybe they might be able to help you out.

transfer case or pcm module
if transfer case is it possible something with oil level or quality?

Might be a combo of both, if the t-case took a crap truck wouldn't move if it was locked into 4hi.
