I thought the nozzle on a diesel pump was too large to fit in a gasoline-powered vehicle's gas tank?

after having my truck for a month i drove it 5 hours to indiana and stopped to fill it up. was dead tired and grabbed the hose and noticed the nozzle wouldn't fit. the guy behind me (i knew him as he was headed to the same race track as us) asked why i was trying to put diesel in my truck? DUH!!! good thing he caught me before i figured out a way to get it in there.

Well... sad story. I never let anyone use my crap! Whether it's cars, trucks, tools, soap, razors... NOTHING! If they want to drive a Hemi Ram... they can get their cheap *** to the dealership and buy one like I did! Nothing good ever comes from lending someone something.

One of my dad's employees put gasoline into one of the diesel trucks. I don't know how anyone canconfuse a Navistar DT466 with a gasser. My dad fired him that day.

I've never had this happen (the diesel fuel in a gasser) but everytime I take my truck to the dealership the service manager asks why I haven't been changing the fuel filter every 10K miles. The last time I told him because it didn't need it, to which he responded that if I have a problem with my fuel system, replacing a common rail would be expensive. I poped the hood, he looked in and responded "uh, hmm...nevermind" with a smile. I think it's because my ride is a 2500 and most assume those are oil burners...

I hate that. It sounds like it should be ok.

I don't understand people that don't have trucks or a suv. The people I know always something to move and they never have a way to move it. Sure I don't haul or tow stuff everyday, but when I need it, it pays for itself. I have helped a couple people move a few things but there is no way I will let them borrow it. My dad is the only other person that drives my truck.
