Default Wiper Problem, need some help

So the other day the windshield is salty so I put on the spray and they wipe 3 times like they should but it was one of thoes times where they just needed one more swipe. I turn the switch and ....... nothing...... ok so I PUSH the switch spray comes out and they wipe 3 times just like they should. ok so I TURN it again..... nothing.... now im no mechanic, but sounds like the switch is broke, what do you think. and how much do you think a switch is going to cost me from the dealer? I hope it's something easy since there is a rain storm on the way this saturday or I will be pushing that button every 3 wipes the whole way! lol.

Yep, sounds like the switch. Might be separately fused, though. Worth a look. What year and how many miles? Might still be under warranty.

I will take a look for a fuse, good idea.

30k miles '06 but it's a prior salvage title, thats how I got a such a great deal on it.

this looks to me like it says that the two functions, wiping and washing/wiping. run off of two diff. fuses? what do you experts think?

Sometimes mine wont turn on until I turn it all the way to the last two settings and then they work fine.

well had the rotors turned on saturday and when I went to go get it. they said there was nothing wrong with the wipers[:@]

it's going to be one of thoes problems I guess. I also think it's the switch but i just don't want to drop $160.00 on it and that not be the problem ya know?
