Default another winter gas question

Where is winter gas sold? I figured you get it up in the cold weather states, but was wondering if you get it here in Texas, where only have 20 minutes of that paticular season.

We get it in NV. Just look on your pump for a sticker that says "Fuel may contain XXX% ethanol during the following date...." with a time period during the winter.

I believe you get everywhere. The refineries change the mix at certian times of the year. They don't know where the fuel will be sold so they all change there mixes. It's just like all the additives added to gas. It's not added until a particular companies truck fills up it holding tank thatit's added.

It has nothing to do with the refineries. They make the gas and ship it to the next place. The Ethanol is added at the distribution center.

It isn't an everywhere thing or even a state by state thing. I recently took a trip to AZ and Kingman, AZ has winter fuel but Cottonwood, AZ doesn't. Kingman probably gets their fuel from CA and Cottonwood probably brings in their fuel from the Phoenix area.
