Default CAI Installed!

After 2 hours and 5 minutes this morning, I was able to put in the K&N.Installation slowed downa bit after my hands and feet became numb with the cold NJ morning air. I took if for a quick spin and what a difference. Acceleration and throttle response is much improved. It also sounds pretty cool, especially with the Cherry Bomb. Hopefully I will get low on gas today so I can fill up with 93 and try out my Superchip. I'll try to get some pics up later.

And does anyone know anything about Spectre CAI's? My friend has one on his F-150 and swears by it. I just wanted to know if they're as good as he says they are

Good job! You are going to love the CAI, especially with your high flow Cherry Bomb.
After many years of aftermarket, higher flow filters (mostly K&N's) and CAI's the only negative is you are going tolet a bit more dust/dirt in through the throttle body. No matter what brand it is, you let in more air, you are gonna get more contaminates, no matter what they say.
Keep an eye on your oil, if real dirty, just adjust your oil changes a bit more frequently. Also, yearly cleaning of the throttle body may be in order.
A small price to pay for better performance & fuel economy!

Gunna have to take a raincheck on the pics. I don't have bluetooth on my cpu and I don't have a digital camera. I was planning on going off roading with my friend (the one with the Spectre) and I was just going to "borrow" his camera, but that plan fell though. I'll post pics as soon as I get them

Heres the Spectre website: http://spectreperformance.com/#HOME
It looks pretty good, but I'd never trade my K&N in for anything other than a True Flow XDI which isn't made for my truck.

hey Midnight Runner, how are you running so much HP on your trucks if your running CAI on them and the white one you said 480 or so HP and that was without NOS? Whats under your hoods, I'd love to see what you got. I have spent over $8000 under my hood to put out 540 at the rear from a HEMI. I'm using the SRT killer package from GS, 268 cam, and then all the other crap like electric fan etc. I am very curious. love the doors on the white one. just not practical for what i do but damn your trucks look good.
