Default RE: Hawk LTS pads

The person that I talked to said that the two pads were the same except for the holes for the brake sensors. I looked at the drawings shown on their web site and found that there is a slight difference between the two. I still don't think it will be the same as the factory pads I pulled off. I sure hope the EBC's are right. They aint cheap! I will let you know.

I installed the Hawk LTS front pads and new Sp performance slotted rotors today. the HB299Y.650 pads for the front worked as the Hawk rep said. There isn't the 1/2 inch gap on the rotor that I think Story had on his.

I broke them in as Hawk said to, as well as SP performance. I did notice as part of the breakin instructions they said if you do not break them in properly the performance can be hindered? Not sure how much but for $300 on this break job I will def take thier advice.

It would seem that I have the wrong Hawk pads. I will try to get them to send me the correct pads but I don't think they will because they say there is no difference between the two. They also list the ones I have on the vehicle search. I will send them the pictures and post what they tell me. I don't have the EBC pads get to report on. I will post those findings.
