Default MYTH

This myth says that if you were to lock your keys in your car, you could call someone at your home who had another keyless entry button for your vehicle. You would have them hold the keyless entry button to the phone and you would intern hold your phone about a foot away from the drivers side door which would unlock your door. Is this true? I would think that cell phones only carry sound and not other types of waves. What do you think? The reason im posting this is that my friend swears it works bc his teacher told him this in class.

Not only is it a myth, it's just plain silly. Telephones cannot transfer radio waves, especially cell phones - they use their own radio waves to work.

That's like saying you can shine a flashlight into one phone and its beam will come out the other end. Ridiculous!
