I have 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 and the same problem! I was trying to install this kit with more relays... with resistors... and nothing! It doesnt work on low beam, and on high beam bulbs jumps up-down...
Does anybody solve the problem? May be you've got some ideas or instructions?
I've heard, about it's possible to solve thi problem, by turning off lamp out function in car's brains... ?

Default HID problem

Hi! I'm new here. I have the same problem with my HID. I bought my HID from a local electronic store which are the xenon hid kit. I bought the Bi-xenon kit (Hi/ Low bulb). The kit comes with a relay but some how it keeps flickering and I also tried a capacitor which is 1000uf 35v and it still flicker. The f***n hid are really pissin me off. I really need help. Any suggestions.

By the way i have a 2005 Dodge Ram.

Chris - welcome....first - do a search for HIDs. second - don't dig up threads that were started over two and a half years ago.

There are tons of threads on here about what to do. You have to wire in some 8ohm 20watt resistors....check the search - it is your friend.

Agreed, or get the 6ohm 50watt resistors off ebay and use them. Ive got pics in my sig link on how they are wired.

Ok, on my headlight plugs there are three wires. There is a blue, white and brown. The blue and white are the high beam and low beam wires while the brown is the common or ground.

Take one resistor and connect it to the blue wire. Take the other end of the same resistor and connect it to the brown wire.

Take another resistor and connect it to the white wire. Take the other end of the same resistor and connect it to the brown wire.
