PLEASE HELP!!! HID PROBLEM!!!

Hey outlaw, thanks for the info, but how exactly did you wire in that relay? I have an 04 quad cab and i bought a set of JS brand HID and they were fairly easy to install but i have the "lamp out" light in my dash on. Is that what the relay will fix?

Can anyone verify that this will work on an 08 dodge ram. I have tired my own capacitor and aftermarket ones for HIDs and NONE seem to have any effect. Also have the relay harness. Can someone verify that OHM resistors will work on this before I splice into wires. thanks guys, Any input would help.

Almost everyone uses 50 watt 6 ohm load resistors off ebay for about $10 a pair shipped.

Thank you very much. I heard the same thing and Just bought them yesterday to try it out. I also bought a H13/9008 Extension harness so I don't have to touch or splice into the factory wiring. Seems like everything should work now. Thanks

Dont Buy Junk, Buy From Retrosolutions
I have tried several kits in my 2004 ram. nothing works like the kit from retro solutions. They will hook you up with the EXACT fit for your truck. It is guarenteed to work with a lifetime warranty at decent price. If you buy the cheap ebay kits you get what you pay for period. Call them up or look on their website. 5000k are the best temp imo. Extremely bright yet people wont be flashing you.

Buy what you want and spend whatever you want but all ballast are made in one of two places. China and Germany. Every harness ive ever bought were all the same also. Lifetime warranties are nice but are a selling gimmick IMO.
Get a bad bulb? Take it out and ship it out. Wait for it to be delivered. Wait for it to be tested and deemed faulty. Wait for new replacement to be sent and delivered. Same for a ballast or relay.
Ive been there and done it. Ive learned to buy an extra ballast or relay or bulbs for fractions of the cost off ebay and have the part in just a few days versus waiting 2+ weeks for a warranty replacement.
Todd at Retro is good. No debate in that. But an educated buyer is better than any seller.
