Well, this is what I have been leaning towards. You guys may have pushed me to the edge. Now to break the news to my girl.....this won't be pretty. I think I'll start saving and see what really becomes a must for me.

I am looking at around $1500-$1600 for the gears, LSD and installfrom what I have heard from you guys. Is that correct?

Leveling kit would be around $400 installed, but then tires and rims to make it look good would put me back further than the gears anyway.

Looks like the dent might have to wait.

Yeah I know, that sucks too. But I think my price is still right.....and since those were the quotes I was seeing from the start it doesn't hurt so bad.

just make sure that when you have someone install them ask to go and see what they have the ring gear backlash anddiff bearing load set at....wanna make sure it's fairly tight....ring gear backlash variation is 0.003 in....and for the diff bearing preload, i've always tried to get em down around 0.004in...overtime as you drive, that number will go up to about 0.007 or 8 and most people will set these up high so they start at like 0.008 then it goes to 0.012 and thats too much....i know i type too much lol
