What should I do to my truck next?
Ok, so far the mods on my truck are in my sig. I am not sure what I want to do next and am wanting some help deciding.
It hashad a dent on the front passenger wheel well since I bought it, and a rusty spot on the same side bumper in the chrome, it would be about $600-$800 to fix I am guessing. The dent isn't bad, in fact neither me nor my buddy noticed it until after we left the lot with the truck. It is about 4x3 inches, and has a small 1x1 spot of paint chipped out. It is noticable, but not terrible.
Next is a leveling kit, and further down the road tires and rims. It would mostly be a looks thing since I don't off-road a whole lot.
And finally gears, probably the most expensive....but probably what I want themost along with a good LSD. I think I would get 4.56s, but 4.10s are an option.
Other.....am I missing something important first?
Now for what I use my truck for. I drive it in town probably 50% of the time, the rest of the time is spent between pulling my boat(1200-1500lbs) my friends boat (4000-5000lbs?)off-roading to a hunting spot, hauling outboards in the bed or on a small trailerand some highway driving.

i'd go for the gears first...for what you use your truck for, it sounds like gears would be the most logical and best mod to do next...however, everything i think about that i never do mods that sound logical to me lol

5.9L 4x4 Dual Exhaust
lol
Yes, I am a4x4. I would probably be wanting 35s with a 17 inch rim maybe would have to be 34s. Kinda depends if I could fit them, I would run the tires on it for now, they are at about 60% tread.
A quick question. Am I correct in assuming that I would more than gain back any acceleration I would lose by going with a 33 or 35 inch tire by switching to 4.56 gears? And with the stock tires, the acceleration gain should be quite large.....correct?

yeah it's quite a difference....i changed to 4.10 in my truck and my 20" had a 30.25 tall tire compared to my 22" is 31.6.....my truck is much faster with the 20" compared to the 22"....for what you want to do, 4.56 would be a great choice
