Default Removing the kick panel: how to?

Took a turn yesterday and dumped a very full Coke cup onto the driver's floor. I tried to clean up the mess with a shop-vac but couldn't remove the driver's side kick panel - wanted to vacuum under the carpet. Didn't see any trim screws and didn't want to pull too hard and break something. Would someone please tell me how to to take off that panel in a way that lets me put it back on? Thanks.

It just snaps in and out. Pull straight up at the bottom first, where it looks like the pieces overlap, and work your way forward. Once the bottom is unsnapped, pull the vertical piece towards the rear of the truck.

Default Thank You: Removing the kick panel: how to?

BlueHemi,

Thank you. I was able to look behind the vertical piece before I quit tugging and it did appear that the kick plate was secured using a "keyhole" type anchor, wider at the top. I think you note confirms that. I really didn't want to leave 20 ozs of Coke to dry under the carpet/padding. Again, thank you.
