Just bought a superchips for my truck. Should get it next week.
My question is, is this worthwhile to install on an otherwise stock truck? I am planning on a True Flow and an exhaust this spring. Will I notice hp and MPG without the others, or wait to install when the others are on?
Anybody got any tips on the installation? (ie fill it with premium first, let it idle for a couple of minutes after, any break-in period or just hammer it, etc).

Before the "regulars" chime in, I have scanned the numerous other threads first.

Yes, it's worthwhile on an otherwise stock truck. They design the unit around a stock truck. The mods you do later will only add to your enjoyment.

I'd try to have 100% premium fuel in the tank by the time you plan on getting the tuner. I'm pretty sure flashing the Superchips program erases any learning the ECU has done but you might as well get full timing advance from the beginning.
