Default Possible group purchase on Honda EU2000i Generator

I'm getting ready to buy a new genie. Anyone interested in getting in on a group purchase?

So far it's $866.00 with no tax and includes shipping. Could be lower depending on how many.

No disrespect but this is sooo funny. Same thing happened on one oif my bike forums. Greater buying power enmass. You buy one, you get one. The more people that buy one, we all get a better price.

Between tons of research and loads of word of mouth, it's hands down the best. 2 buddies work for Yamaha and they say buy the Honda. It's the quietest, has a built in inverter for computers and such and has a built in system that regulates the speed of the motor based on what the demands are. This thing is so quiet, you can stand next to one and carry a normal conversation.

I just looked at the specs on this thing and I found that it is only 2000W max. For $866 IMO is not worth it. For that kind of money you can get a 7000+W unit from homedepot. Louder, but in most cases, I would rather have the extra power. You can even buy the LP gas generators around 4000w for that price that will run all day on one 5 gal tank for that price.

Other than it being quiet, what are your other reasons for wanting this unit. Just curious here.
