Do you do any offroading of any kind at all? Do you want to get bigger tires ever? These are the 2 biggest questions. If the answer is no to both, then I would just lower the back. If you like to plow the corn fields at night, or go camping deep in the woods, you might want to lift it a bit, but not much as you will get stuck in those deeper puddles regardless being a 2 wheel drive.
I dont go off roading alot but i wouldn't mind gettin a gettin biggger tire and i do like the look of a lifted truck. On the other hand i do like to pull up to a car at a light an smoke the hell out of them.
Hammer, Where are you to bust this guys ***** about crusing around on a peice of lumber?
Zondo, it is 4x2...a 2x4 is wood... I got busted for that yesterday (mine was a typo tho, lol)
Well, if you do not want to lift the front end, then lowering the back is your only option. Why do you not want to raise the front, just out of curiosity?

haha i was just thinkin the 2x4 thing!! but yea this is a popular question... Im an offroading guy i went up... if you dont wanna hit the mud or put larger tires on... the street look being a little lower aint bad either
Yea, I am goin UP...getting my coil spacers in the mail soon, and am going to do that on the same day as my header install. I figure it will be easier to do the headers with the suspension out of the way, and I am going to have to takethe susp.apart to install the spacers anyway...
mfs212 my bad 4x2 n e ways i just didnt want to raise the front only to make it level. if i was to lift it it would be 3in or nothin

I hear you... I got a sick deal on these new spacers (less than $40 after shipping) so I decided to go that way with it. I think the loweing shackles work well and are fairly easy to install. They will give a nice sporty look to the truck, and are fairly inexspensive.
