Default Anybody know an ETA on the Kenne Bell blower for 2004 5.7?

I was wondering how long I have to wait to have a "Blown Hemi". Kenne Bell's website doesn't offer much info at all. I haven't seen mention of anyone else working on the 5.7 kit either, except for a streetrod company who claims they can adapt an LS1 magnacharger to fit for about 5 grand.

Don't hold your breath. They never could get the 03 to work either.

they are starting to advertise it in the street truck magazine. I've seen it in the last 2 or 3 issues with a big "new" stamp on it.

The reason they finish with the '03 is because of the PCM, which changed for the '04s. Here is the link, it explains more...

Actually, I read on another sit that they have been sucessful with the 04 PCM, and will be releasing a kit in the next couple months. I'm just interested in the Optimizer that should also be available.

Hello all.

I sent a quick note to Kenne Bell regarding ETA and got the following reply just now (Jan. 4):
From: "Kenne Bell" <kennebell@kennebell.net>

Yes we are close to releasing the kit soon. We are looking at about 30 to 45 days before the kit will be released.

Thanks for your inquiry,

Subject: S/C for '04 HEMI Ram QC 4x4 ready for prime time?

Hello.

I heard through the DodgeForum.com that the Kenne Bell supercharger
for the '04 HEMI Ram may be close to ready for prime time. Is there
any truth to this? If so, I am seriously interested in shipping and
installation options for the New England area. I have a 2004 1500 QC
4x4 that's in desperate need of ~500 HP. I own a '97 Viper GTS with
500 HP and need to have the HP on all my cars match (our '01 Durango
5.9 R/T is next).

Please let me know where you stand on the '04 HEMI Ram supercharger project.

Thanks!

Sounds like I'll be looking at 500HP in the Spring!
