Just traded my 05 Dakota for a 2008 Ram 1500 4x4 with the 5.7 Hemi.....couple more trips by the gas pump!( buti prepared myself for that one. Anyways, i am looking to put a few mods on the new truck and everywhere i look there are only parts for up to 2007 rams. my question is...are the parts for the 2008 the same as the 2007 or did Dodge change them up?

Congrats on the purchase.
Everything from body to interior mods is pretty much the same.
As for engine, CAI, exhaust, I can't answer since I also have an 08 an still waiting answers from manufacturers, I beleive its all the same but the company's have not tested it yet. Sure an exhaust is an exhaust, but the pipe's curves migth be different, The CAI should fit, nothing changed there.

mainly looking for a CAI (had a K&N on the dakota) and also want to lift it a little.
I got the truck a week and a half ago and i already had the exhaust upgraded to the Flowmaster 40 series Sin/Dout....really loud but ilike it.I am alsogetting the windows blacked out this week.
for rebelz99: i like the look and stance of your truck...where did you get the lift kit and how much would that run someone? from the pic i am pretty sure my truck is the same color blue as yours.
and if anyone has any feedback on the superchip 3815 (power, mpgs, easy to use?)

thks, not much of a lift kit since I have a 2500HD, all I have is a 2.5" front coil spacer and a 2" block in the back (150$). Color is patriot blue. As for the Superchip 3815, I noticed some good performance gains, as for mpg, I drive the truck harder and faster since the tune, and seem to get the same mpg with a more aggresive driving, some gains are considered. Since you have an exhaust setup, and are way ligther than My truck, you should have some nice gains. I'd buy the tuner again, and some will suggest to wait for the SCT tuner!!!!
