Moisture inside my engine ??
I have the 03 Ram 2500 4X4 Hemi. I have been noticing that there is always lots of moisture and rust inside the oil fill cap. Anybody else have this ?

Quite a few... Some of us don't. How often do you change the oil?

Yes. Its normal. That comes from driving short trpis and not allowing the engine and oil get comepletly warmed up.

I change it every 5000 km. Maybe there is something wrong with the PCV.

Couldn't hurt to clean/replace the PCV. I cleaned mine, but I'll probably replace it next time I'm diggin' around in there.

Sounds like it may be too many short trips with the truck. You need to run them for a good trip now and then. Red

I've heard the 4.7s are notorious for this regardless. I know mine is. But most of my driving is 1/2 hour or less.

Yup, normal. Its not rust, its just oil mixed with condensation.
Like said, short trips, especially in colder weather will cause that.
Nothing to worry about.
