Homemade CAI...Whaddya Think?..KillerBud Check this out
It looks like you spent some time on that MFS212, looks good! I've heard some stuff about PVC and gasses and all, but thanks to the very informative Redram05baby now we all have a pretty good explanation of what that's all about (thanks for that Redram - awsome to see someone put some real world effort into such a great write-up). I guess in the end what matters is your happy with it, and hopefully it doesn't melt creating a mess on the top of your engine, or cause some caustic gas to spew threw your vents
(seems doubtfull considering how many have gone the "home-brew" route..)...
For me, I went the spendy route and got a K&N - but have seen lots ofpeople with various implimentations (I say "implimentation" as I've seen PVC, welded up exhaust pipe, pipe that looks like it belongs on a clothes dryer, etc.) on rides in some of the trails we've got here. Sometimes they look a bit odd, but everytime I mention it the guy / gal drivin' the vehicle they swear by it

Money has certainly been saved by building it yourself
but now take the step that takes a bit of courage
...like the Wright Brothers
test your creation.
Check the IAT and MAP sensors
and time accelerations with this new CAI
compared to the factory one
