cool. Thank you all for your inputs. I think from the discussions i am going to go with the python system since the dealers here in tulsa dont have the viper. Plus both products are made by the same company which means its mainly a marketing/sales difference between the two.

Of course i have my trusty ol sig with laser grips to back me up.

IMHO if anyone chooses to get an alarm with a remote it would make sense to me that the next logical step would be LOJACK.

By the time you call the police and tell them aobut your remote going off you can tell them where you parked it and they may get there before you do. Hard to believe but it has worked for my friend.

Simple: Remote sounds, call police tell them you have LOJACK and location of vehicle and they tell you if it has moved and will meet you to make a police report ifit hasn't for your insurance records: IE smashed windows, missing stereo etc.

Also, DO NOT advertise anywhere on your vehicle what type of alarm or that you have LOJACK in anyway. Most good thieves can get around alarms if they know what type they are. As I have said before "Keep 'em guessing"

I have a lab, but i think the dog would lick the person to death and watch the guy take things from the truck. Heck the dog may even stay in the truck and go with the person should they decide to take the entire truck.

There is nothing really special about my truck.. i just want to give some second thoughts to a person wanting to smash a window in or take the stock radio, airbag, etc.
You know, while we're on the subject i just have to ask you this question. Why would you own a dog who couldn't earn his keep? I mean i don't know what part of the country you live in, but i would think a person would invest in a dog who could do more than lick the person taking your property...........
But hey to each their own.........

Back on topic...I have a Clifford, which works great.

The truck came painted that way from Southern comfort customs...I am still trying to get info from them on what they did to the truck to customize apart from the obvious. Bought the truck from a Dodge dealer here in Central FL. I have some info on it already but none on the paint...Changes color depending on the angle you look at.

well if your a pheasant, duck, quail, or goose your dead meat with my dog. As for the interaction with humans, i trained my dog to hunt and not protect. Guess the argument could go both ways as to the level of training i put into the dog but for me having a excellent hunting dog was what i was after.
