Default Programmers

Anyone used the cpu programmers to get better fuel economy? Do those actualy helpor are they just a waste of money.What brand would you recomend?

i went from 13.8 to 17.1 using the economey tune with the superchips programmer

The programmer will give you a bit better mileage, but really needs some other mods to shine. When combined witha nice, free flowing exhaust, it will start to shine in this area. A CAI and headers will enhance the fuel economy gains as well...

Yep, I'm seeing about a 2.5 MPG increase in Performance Tune with a Superchips Flashpaq. With is much driving as I do, it will pay for itself in about 6 months...
