Default RE: Lifting the Torsion Bar Ram?

I ended up getting the Truxxx 2-3" leveling kit because of the shock relocation bracket. I'm very happy.

After all was said and done the front was lifted by more than2 inches (even more if I cranked the torsion key bolt some more). I took her out for a spin afterwards and things did move around a little so I had to do some more tweaking when I got back. I have an alignment scheduled for tomorrow - camber and caster are noticeably off

Oh and by the way, you will need the Torsion Bar Unloading tool. The C clamps I had were too whimpy. I did managed to use a jack and a scrap piece of metal to lift the old keys to get the torsion key keeper out but the weight of the truck is not enough to lift the new keys to put the torsion key keeper back in.

FYI for all you Kanucks, Canadian Tire has a tool loaner program. I paid a $200 deposit to get a Ball Joint Remover tool (not a Torsion Bar Unloading tool but it worked) then when I brought it back they gave memy $200 back. Sweet!!
