Do these trucks not have in cabin filters? I'm amazed at how dirty, and dusty the inside of my new truck gets. And not just dusty but little particles of dirt and whatever that i can actually see and pickup....

I was wondering if maybe the filter was missing, but then figured it's probably just straight outside air coming in?! Anybody know for sure?

To my knowledge they don't. If they did, it'd be a real pain in the *** to change.

 

You can get a cabin filter... It goes in the cowl.

 

Pappy_FB, a well respected, former frequenter here, has these and swears by them.

ive heard good things about these filters. they arent that expensive either.

 

keep ur vent control **** on the first 2 settings on the left.this will keep the fresh air intake closed.

 

How do those hold up in bad weather?

I used these for 2 years, winter and summer, and the worked very well (got mine for $50). Had no problems with them freezing up in the winter--5F lows in south western PA. Definitely kept out the dust and leaves that were getting in. The only problem I had is that on my 05 QC, they stick up a bit and interfere with windsield washer jets. So I removed them and installed heavy duty black fiberglass screen netting on the underside of the inlet grills on the cowling. This keeps the leaves out, but does nothing for the dust. If you don't mind the small complications, then they work great...
