Superchips Help
Ok, well it ****ty weather here today and I was bored So I went out and bought some **** for the truck, one of which was the Superchips Flashpaq. Got online got the update and installed the 87 octane setting. My question is can some one help me out with setting the rev limiter, speed limiter, and shift points? Like I know how to do it, I just dont know what I should set them at. Thanks in advance.
The pre-programmed points are pretty good, at least as a starting point. Just get rid of the mph limit and leave the others alone, at least until you get a feel for the changes. Then you can go back and tweak them a bit. BTW I've found that the mpg gains in the performance mode with 93 octane gas about outweighs the economy settings using 87 octane gas. After gactoring in the roughly 20 cent difference in gas it's gonna cost you about the same thing over the long haul, so you may want to fill up with high test and use the performance tune and you'll see. Of course to see the mpg benefits in the perf setting, you're gonna have to stay the hell off the gas pedal, something I have a hard time doing...

Yea, thats what i plan on doing, but I wasnt planning on getting this till my tax return came in, so i filled up with 89 last night. Woke up this morning, and my tax return did come in, haha so now a week of driving on the 87. Thanks for the pointers though.
O yea I dont wanna start another post, but whats a good place to find a good, black, toolbox, that has two lids instead of one solid one?
