idk which is louder but i have the 40 on my 5.7 and i love it even after six months i still play with the throttle just hear hear her

Ray Flugger has made more money than any other muffler company owner
by creating mufflers that have a certain sound
rather than actually giving the highest power boost
or having the muffler that resists rust the longest.

It would be interesting to have a candid talk with him
about what he knows about the psychology of vehicle owners:

Have you thought about straight pipes? My truck came with duals that start after the cat that is at the junction of the Y pipe, and then exit under the rear bumper. I know, I need to get pics and maybe a sound clip, I'll try to work on that this weekend. Anyway, I don't have an irritating drone, and it's not as loud as you might think. I think the Y pipe and cat are where the restrictions are, so I'm probably not gaining anything other than sound. But like I said it was like that when I bought it, and I do like the way it sounds.
