I traded my 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 for a 2500 not because of the miles, but because of the capability(or lack thereof) of the truck. I needed something that could tow 10,000 lbs. My 1500 had 97,000 miles before I traded it. All those miles were mine. The biggest problem I had with the truck before I traded it was that the front suspension needed to be tightened, with a few parts needing replaced. I think the shop quoted my $1500 to do this. I didn't have a single issue with the engine the entire time I've owned the truck.

Traded in my 97 ClubCab with 198,XXX miles. The transmission was beginning to be a problem, and it was having trouble towing a 3 bale trailer and tractor trailer.

we bought a ram van with 175000mi. on it. the van has somewhere around 225-250000. the thing is a beast but its ugly. no problems. only needed to weld the gas tank because it had a leak. were selling it right now since we just finished moving and used it to help us move and because were getting a few new cars put in our driveway and dont need a bucket sitting there alongside the new rides.

I had a 94 that I got in 96, drove it until 03, and traded for something else. The tranny was getting close to going out, it had 147000 when I traded.
