Default Wow! 5.7 + 36 gallon tank = $$$

Well today I had exactly half a tank of gas left on my truck and thought, heck let me fill her up. Well, it costed $60 dollars to fill up! And thats just half a tank. I know most of you guy know this already. My silverado was not this bad. But its worth it, I love driving this thing!

Yeppir, I filled mine this weekend from just under 1/4... $62 and that's a 26 gal tank. Ouch. An' your right, they're a blast to drive!

Depending on the year the Chevy would have been better.

On a typical week (non-winter gas mix)I burn 3/4 of a tank. With the winter mix I am just about using the whole thing. I have to find stations that will take $75 rather than $50 as a max per transaction at the pump.

i've got the bigger tank and the hemi too and it's not exactly fun when you have to re-swipe your card just to make it full!

i use to make the comment concerning Hummer2 owners that if you can afford the truck you did not care what the gas prices where. Well i knew going into the deal that the Ram would suck down gas, but the winter blend seems to go down a lot quicker and cost me more! Or it may just be an okie thing.

i wish it cost me 64 dollars to fill , i have the small tank and costs me 100 canadian which now adays is pretty close to american.
