Default 06 seat stains?

I have looked all over the forums for a fix to this problem, and I can't find nothing. Is there anything out there that can clean the seats without making it worse? I have tried about 4 or 5 different products, and nothing helps. I don't want to get seat covers, I think they are way over priced. Please someone tell me something that works!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah, my buddy has an '06 and he has the same problem, he got neoprene seat covers for his. seat covers would probably be your best bet. you can getinexpensive ones on autoanything.com.or you can take it to a professional and have them take care of it. as far as doing it on your own, there are a million products out there, don't know which ones work the best, i guess it depends on what kind of stain it is.there is a stain guard specific for automotive use that will help protect the seats after they've been cleaned.

I would imagine, if you look at the DIY about leather seats, you can learn how to pull the cloth off. Then you could run it through the wash and put them back on. It will wear your hands down, but at least you can take the DIY as aguide on how to remove the cloth and reinstall it.

I don't have a problem getting the stain out. It just leaves a water mark that I can't get out.

When you clean the seats, you have to clean the whole seat so it will dry evenly. Just like microfiber couches. I have a 2yr old that is always spilling juice, milk, or whatever on the back seats and I find me cleaning the seats all the time. Yes, for some reason, when you clean just the spot, it looks like a ring is left behind. If you clean the whole seat with a warm, wet, lint free towel, then it will dry evenly and look new again. If the stain is real bad, then get yourself some coffee remover and use that, but still doing the whole seat.

When using a cleaner, you need to do the entire seat, not just the spot. This will help with the water spot. There has been talk in the past about the ’06 seat stain problem here. If it was me, I would go with seat covers and be done with it. Red

An ounce of prevention... blah blah blah.

Use a damn sock next time!

Oxy clean gets any stain out... but do the whole seat. Spray bottle!

Try Rug Doctor Steam Cleaner. It is concentrated liquid carpet cleaner, so dilute with water in a spray bottle. Hit the spot, rub with soft cloth. Spot gone and no stain. My son now uses it on cloth seats in his 2005 Ram,after I showed him how great it works. www.rugdoctor.com

Go to your Dodge dealer...I think they make stuff that is supposed to clean the 06 seats. I know this has been a problem with the 06 Rams, I have the same issues. Chysler is aware of the problems...might want to call the service dept. Let me know what happens.
