Thats Pricey... Money Isn't Really An Issue, I Feel Like I Buy Tires Sooner Than Shoes! If Anything I'll Buy A Mudder For Wheelin' and When I Am Goin For Looks... Then Some Good Road Tires With My Stock Wheels.

I don't think that's pricey at all for Toyo's. You get what you pay for. Last non-Mickey/DC's I bought were Goodyears at what I thought was a great price, they were crap! Wore out prematurely and cupped and the tire store always blamed my truck. I bought a set of Mickey's and had them put on with NO changes to the truck and never had a single problem. That was in 1995, and I'll never skimp ona tire again, neither on my truck or my Grand Cherokee!!!
Get you some tires man, this thread is getting played out...[&:]

RedRam: You'll get no sympathy from me, I'm the "King of Sarcasm" anyway, just ask my ex-wife.[:@]

mmstar: DON'T get the Mud Grapplers for the pavemant. One of the best off-road tires made, maybe only behind Boggers and Baja Claws for the gooey stuff, but they wear down in no time on the pavement and are VERY LOUD on the street as well.
I've got one hunting buddy in particular who has more money than sense, who gets a new set EVERY year for hunting season because the 15k or so he puts on them on the road between seasons wears them down to being useless in mud...

Hammer: damn that sucks! they just look so nice, but i did hear that they'll last 15k - 20k miles which sucks for the price. what tire would you go with thats a 35 and has a nice nobby look to it but is also decent on the pavement? by the way performanceplustire.com is an excellent site for rims and tires and offer free freight on a lot of their products

I'm strictly a Mickey Thompson/Dick Cepek guy, although Toyo's are awesome tires too. Of course both brands are at the higher end of the price scale, but they are also at the higher end of the performance scale too.
I have the Dick Cepek Fun Country II's, basically a hybrid between an A/T and M/T tire. I have some farm land in GA. but live in central Fl. Because it's a 320 mile trip each way I needed a tire that will perform well and last on the interstates but be able to play off road when I get there, so I think I found the perfect tire for me.
If you want to get a little more aggressive, they make a Mud Country version. Also Mickey Thompson (same company as Dick Cepek) has a Baja MTZ that is just awesome, I have two hunting/fishing/ATV buddies who have them and swear by them. A bit loud on pavement but wear as good as most A/T tires on the road. Plus the tread looks mean as hell to me.
Still more aggressive is the very famous Baja Claw, probably the most aggressive off road radial tire made for mud exceptfor Boggers. They also regularly dominate rock crawling competition, but usually in the non-radial, Bias ply form. The Claw actually wears pretty well on pavemant and handles quite well also. The drawbacks though is that they are loud as hell on the street and are not the best choice on rainy days as they are not a siped tire...
Seriously give the Baja MTZ a look...

yeah i have about 10 on my mud grapplers, about half way gone, and boy are they loud...i consider them a show tire, they pull great in the mud, horrible in the sand. and are on almost every lifted truck in most magazines, especailly truckin...
