lol. Went back to the stock tune, sold the Superchips so I could order an Edge (Customer Service with Superchips pissed me off, and I didn't want their product in my truck). Anyway, had to drive a 400 mile track today, and sadly my mileage went back to chit, only averaging 16mpg, a far cry from the 19 I was getting just last week with the SC tuner. Hopefully the edge will prove to be just as good. However with the SC tuner, I could only get MPG gains on the Performance tune with 93 octane, the economy tune with 87 octane dropped my mileage to about 15mpgs. Oh well, hopefully the edge will be here tomorrow or Monday...

What happened with superchips? I had a good expirience with their customer service?

How in the hell are you getting 16/19mpg in that truck?

My SWB RC 4x4 Hemi is only getting about 12 and i am absolutely babying it. Everything is stock on mine so far...

 

I am still undecided between the edge and the SC, make sure you post a review for us!

 

I have the SC on economy tune right now, and there is a real difference, especially at WOT. I cant wait until Iburn this tank of gas out....wait...did I just say that?

From what I understand, though, there are alot less features for 07-08 trucks on this tuner. It is great for my 04 tho...

hey bwhite, what is the "thunder road" edition mean?? mine is the same thing. i started wondering when i was ordering parts and they asked on sites if it was sl or slt or whatever. so i looked on my sticker and it said "thunder road" edition haha. just wonderin. but ya let us know how edge goes. im thinkin bout gettin a tuner

 

Dude, you need a tune-up or something. I've got mine weighing in at just shy of 7000 lbs. with the lift kit, winch, brush & grill guards, 35" tires, etc. and I'm getting 13.7 in over-all driving and about 15.5 on trips with a 650 lb. ATV in the bed...

bwhite: I hope you ain't gonna be disappointed but I've got a buddy with an '06 QCSB 4x2 Hemi had the Edge. Uninstalled my SC Flashpaq and installed perormance tune on his truck for a couple of days. He put his Edge on ebay and bought a Superchips before his Edge even sold. Said it was night & day difference.

 

Anyone know why he is pissed at superchips?
