I believe the factory inlet & outlet on my '07 were both 3". I put a Magnaflow single in (3") and dual out (2.5" each) and it sounds and looks awesome. It's a little quieter than the Flowmaster, but with the K&N intake kit, at wot the thing screams like a banshee.

If you're looking for the best flowing, I'd go with either magnaflow or dynomax ultraflo. They're both straight through design and give you a deep mellow tone. I can literally drop a baseball through my ultraflo. Heres the muffler I bought:

Flowmaster is always a good choice. It wont flow quite as well as the others, butthey sound great. They have a more aggressive tonethan the magnaflow or dynomax. If you have stock exhaust and dont plan on adding headers or highflow/removing cats look at the 10 series 1 chamber flow. Its louder than the 40 series, and flows a little better too. It wont be too much with a mostly stock exhaust, but with headers it would probably be too loud.
