QUESTIONS THAT NEED ANSWERS: 1. WHO BUILDS THE NEW 68RFE? 2.ARE THE GEAR RATIOS FOR THE STICK & THE AUTO THE SAME? 3. WHICH WILL GIVE THE BEST MPG?

the 68RFE is a chrysler built trans....ratio for the 68RFE is:
1st: 3.23:1
2nd: 1.83:1
3rd: 1.41:1
4th: 1.0:1
5th: 0.81:1
6th: 0.62:1

the manual ratios are:...there 2 different trans used one ends with AD, the other with AE...The AD numbers are listed first
1st: 6.29/5.94
2nd: 3.48/3.28
3rd: 2.10/1.98
4th: 1.38/1.31
5th: 1.00/1.00
6th: 0.79/0.74

i would say the auto will prolly give the best MPG just by looking at the ratio's

....these numbers are based on a 08 2500 with 6.7 CTD
