Default Rev limiter

I know this is a stupied ? but is there any way that i can make my rev limiter lil high then what it cuts out at now with out hurting my truck?

I have the superchips flashpaq. I set my shift points at 5800, redline at 6200. I didnt see any benefit of goinghigher since the motor stops making power after that.

Also with the tuner you can set different tunes like performance, towing and economy. I have mine on performance and I love it. Helped a lot with throttle response and my MPG has been going up ever since I installed it 4 days ago.

that sweet. thanks for the help guys. now i need to see if they make that for the 2002 5.9l lol. some stuff is not made for it witch sucks

Flashpaq Tuner for Dodge Gas Trucks is olny made for the 5.7. will it still work with mine do you know or do i have to talk to superchips about that?

Look into the SCT, I believe it supports the 5.2, 5.9 and some 4.7's. Plus, unlike the Superchips, it supports custom tunes...

sct has some great work... they are really popular in the ford world... check them out though they are working on the hemi applications as well though!@

I have the same truck as you and I have the superchips 3715. I like it, can't set shift points but you can give it different tunes, and raise the rev limiter and speed limiter. I have removed the speed limiter, but never messed with the rev limiter since its there for a reason.
