Top end is definitely better, as well as throttle response. Shifting seems better also. In all I wasn't super impressed, but I got mine used off ebay, you can get one for around $230-$270ish. Just make sure it isn't VIN locked, and pay with paypal so you can get your money back if it is. For the price I got mine, I was happy. Another reason to have it is for the code reading ability.
