yeah thats what i was thinking but i thought it could be possible for the 4th gen rams. (the most common ones to have the 20's)

And Ryan, the 4th gens aren't out yet... it's a late 2008 release... for the new 2009 models...

oh ok. for some reason i was thinking the newer styles like the 2008 was the 4th gen...cause they are different from say...my 2003.

You're gonna have a lot more issue with your 3.7 V6 turning those 20" wheels and bigger tires than you're gonna have with your brakes stopping them...

+1 this is true the added weight has a better chance of affecting gas mileage and performance than the braking...

As the overall tire diameter increases, the leverage (mechanical advantage) against the brakes increases. I don't know where the point of concern would be, but there are obviously enough Rams with large rolling stock that haven't had any stopping issues so you're fine unless you're going for the Monster Truck circuit.
