how about this thing called PAINT

 

Yeah I read that wrong st has no paint it's a dull finish that would not look good on our trucks.

 

thats a great idea!! its just that because of this chrome styling they used is extremely hard to paint over.. it takes a ton of prep work a ton of money at the body shop.... a LOT easier said than done..

I'm going with the ST grill on my 2500 - here's a picture of an ST - note the dull color, it's what I'm looking for, but not for everyone.

i just went to the dealership and asked if they would swap me, my chrome for his ST package bumbers and grille. ****, they get free chrome for a work truck to sell an you get the base model trim...he was more than happy to do it.
