Does anyone know if I can lengthen the duration of my blinkers. You know how you can tap the blinkers up or down for the use of quick blinkers? I don't know what to call that, but when you tap them they only blink three times!

This bothers the hell out of me. Three blinks isn't enough to do anything let along exit the highwayor change lanes.

I'm curious if I would be able to extend the duration to six blinks...that'd be very convenient!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I realize this might take a lot of work for such a little request, but I feel like I would use that option more if it were at least five blinks.

 

Anything more than three blinks you might as well engage your blinker until you entered/exited the highway or changed lanes. I think the three is enough. Just my thoughts. Red

 

no way...i never noticed that when you tap the blinker it flashes three times....that's awesome.

wow that is the first time i heard that so everytime I just hold the blinkers it just flashes 3 times, that means ive been changing lanes without using blinkers

 

Is it really that big of an inconvenience to engage the blinker in full and then turn it off when your done?

 

My '05 definitely didn't do this. When I bought my Ram I'd tap the blinker and it kept blinking... never knew why... I'd hit it in the other direction, then it'd blink that direction. Drove me nuts the first day, but when I realized what it was for, it was awesome. Considering before this I was that inconsiderate ***** who didn't use blinkers at all... the 3 blinks from one quick tap has made me a more courteous driver....

 

I guess I'm over-couteous or something and want more than three blinks. Not that it's an inconvenience to fully engage the blinker, but it really is a nice and convenient feature to have...I just wish it were slightly different.

Isn't that what we're all doing here...trying to make our RAMs slightly different and customized to fit our needs and wants?

 

My Magnum does the three,but my Ram does not have that feature.

 

My C does the three blinks. Now that I'm used to it, it's enough. I'd like four or five, but I haven't found anything on the Chrysler/LX forums that would help me change it.
