key idea is that your intake air temperature sensor (IAT)
and manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor
will tell you truthfully
if an intake is a waste of your hard earned $
that could have been spent on a mod that does work

Here is the K&N dyno sheet for the 5.7L. All your Bull spit about stop watches and sensors is just thst, bull!

Lets see you argue with dyno results. Do CAI's increase Horsepower? Yep. +8 hp on the 5.7

well it is super-easy to argue with that dyno test,
because it does not comform to the new J2723 rules
where you have to have an SAE observer present
to stop 'cheating'

http://wardsautoworld.com/ar/auto_en...pup/index.html

but I notice that even KN must think sensor important
because they record the air temperature and air pressure reading !

Notice that with everything KN records
they don't record
that it was a new, clean, factory filter
or give the part number?

The J2723 have been agreed to by every automaker and engine maker.
