Default DIY: Painting Headlights 02-05

Alright I will slap anyone who uses this smiley:
[sm=ttiwwp.gif]

Now that thats out of the way.

1. Remove headlight fairly easy
2. Set oven on the lowest setting possible and lay a towel down across the rack
3. Let the headlight sit in there shortly be extremely careful and watch it
4. Use regular head screw drivers to pry around the outside being careful with the clips
5. Outine the area with tape and newspaper to cover the unpainted areas remember your only painting the outline

6. Get a tube of permatex and fill in where you pulled some sealent out
7. Firmly press the pieces back together if you cant force it in you may need to reheat
8. Re-install the headlight

Thanks alot TD, did your house smell from cooking the light? Also let us know if you have any moisture issues over the next couple weeks. Oh and can we get a full truck picture with the headlights?
