paint question
before we know it, it will be spring in texas again. and this means flying insects will be everywhere, including in my grill and radiator and all those nice coolers up front. i was wondering if something like Pam cooking spray would hurt my paint or headlights? see i was thinking if i sprayed it down before a road trip it would be easier to clean off the bugs. any ideas if it would damage the paint or chrome/plastic grille?
on another question. once when i was showing my brother my new truck, i opened the hood to find a little bird dead in my radiator. is anyone putting any type of mesh behind that big grille? i was thinking of going to home depot and getting some wire mesh to mount behind the grille, something big enough to not hinder airflow but small enough to keep the bugs out.

i tihnk the pam will probably mess up the paint, not the chrome. the grease in it and all the oil will break up the paint after a while. i oo found a dead bird (well just the head of one anyway) sitting in my grill once. not sure about mutting up something to stop it, i live in SC so i know exectly how it is with all te bugs, especially about 6 om on a nice 98% humidity day (which seems to be everyday april-september) you culd try it though, not a net b/c if it cam lose somehow it'd get in the fan and next thing ya know you'd of rather just cleaned up the bugs.
I have heard of people using this for the bugs on the paint. I have not personally ised it so I am not sure how well it works.
