So does it sit on the paint when it's open.

It does, but there appears to be soft rubber bump stops between the cab and panel that rests against the cab.

Ok, the cover didn't fair to well with the car wash test. It leaked in certain spots that I kinda figured it would. The weather stripping still hasn't relaxed down against the bed in certain spots where it was shipped. However it's still fairly dry from the front of the bed to about the tires, and then there's some water on the sides, and the tailgate let a lot of water in around it, however I didn't buy the weather stripping for the tailgate so that's my fault. All in all, I'm pretty sure this will keep the bed bone dry in a thunderstorm, the high pressure car wash on the other hand got through...

lol, the car wash is only a mile from the house.. I love the cover, it just makes my truck look that much better... Plus giving me extra cargo room with items that need to be protected from the elements, and being able to utilize the entire bed without having to take the cover off!!! I think it's a steal for the price, and definantly don't regret buying it...

The only thing I don't like is if I open the tailgate, I have to open the first section of the cover up to close the tailgate, and then latch the cover back into place. It's not that big of a deal, but a little annoying...

You have to open the tailgate to be able to open the cover, right?

Overall I'm pretty sure I'm sold. I like that it sits flush, works with the spoiler, and is so versatile.

Yes, you have to open the tailgate to open the cover, that's why I said to buy a Bully tailgate lock as well. Makes it easy to secure your belongings back there.

Redram, yes got rid of the Superchips, will probably be getting the Edge tuner within the next couple of weeks...

ok... I also noted that you have a lockable tailgate. Was that standard or did you purchase the lock separately. if yo did, where did you get it from?

Thanks
