that looks nice, sharp. is there a way to hold it up at the cab if you need to haul something big?

Yes, I didn't have them up in the pictures, but when you have it against the cab there are two rods, 1 for each side, that you pull up and lock the cover into place.

looks badass man!!! Only thing that sucks about my ranch fiberglass cover is that I can't put anything big, but oh well. I just like the fact it made my truck look 100 times better, perhaps saves some gas, and keeps valuables locked in! And not to mention, doesn't leak one drip!

To be honest, I can't remember what type of backup camera it was. I had it installed at a local car audio shop. But any decent camera should work. Just have them drill a hole and they can either use a grommet to attach it like that, or mine is actually screwed onto the tailgate and the angle is adjustable.

ORIGINAL: bwhite757

I got it for $520 before Christmas, but it was absolute HELL trying to get it here. Somehow my order got lost not once, but twice!!! I would suggest just ordering it straight from the factory, it may save you a hell of a headache..
Dang, that is nice! So where'd you get it from? Everywhere I look it's about $600+. Did you consider others?

WOW!! I haven't looked at prices since I ordered mine, they've gone up quite a bit. I ordered mine from AZtrucks.com They were having a Christmas special and free shipping, 20% off the list price of $660. I just went to their website and looked and they've jacked the price of the BakFlip up to $728 with no discount!!! Maybe I caught a good deal.

I did find one for $585, however I don't know anything about that company: Link - Click Here
The only bad thing is they don't say if it's the new G2 model or not, and guys, make sure you get the new G2!!!! The old models had a couple design flaws in them that made them leak badly....

A little update on mine though. The sun has relaxed the rubber and it has layed down on the bedrails all the way around. Went through the spray wash again, this time only water in the bed was what was let in by the tailgate. I'm going to have to get a tailgate sealer. Anyhow I was very pleased at the difference of today's test...

Thanks for all the info bwhite757! I was going for the Extang Trifecta once I get my tax return, but now I'm leaning toward putting out the additional $$$ for the BakFlip. However, now that the Bakflip is in the $600 territory, I'm also considering the Peragon retractable cover ($699 incl shipping). Decisions, decisions....
