I like layered secured.

[ul][*]Alarm - hopefully it might deter a smash and grab theif from breakign window and stealing radio and things inside.[*]At home, I have a driveway gate now, two dogs and a variety of weapons[*]To actually keep the truck where I left it, I installed a Ravelco. The only device I have ever heard recommended by any police officer and my insurance company. Yes, State Farm will offer comprehensive discounts for alarms but this is the only device three agents I spoke with recommended if I want to find my truck when I come out from the movie.[/ul]

I know that one day i was using my friends durango (1st gen) and I left my truck at school to go grab something. I get back ad try to lock his doors but my truck just kept on honking. I found out that I started the truck with my key from my ram. I dont know if it would work on the opposite way.....

my sis-in-law's boyfriend, who is also a cop, renewed his insurance and it jumped 300 dollars a year. he said they told him it is because the ram is the number one stolen truck right now, anyone else heard this. don't know who he is insured with, but i gotta renew on monday and am not looking forward to a price jump, hell i just had some stuff come off of my record and was looking forward to seeing a little break!

4 months ago when I switched insurance when I bought my newer, more expensive Ram, my insurance rates went down (a pleasant surprise). It might be a regional thing?

i got a good idea. u can order a tracking device and put into your truck where people cant find. HULK did this on Brook's SUV when she was out for her first date.[8D]
i will buy em for safety and insurence wont go up.

sorry for my spelling.
