Default 77 Series CAI

I just purchased a new dodge ram 2008 and I was curious at about when usually they come out with all of the 08 products? Cold air intakes, superchips, etc. I also am probably going to but a 77 series k and n CAI. But I am open for suggestions and comments on other brands. One question for owners of the 77 series k and n Are yall please with the sound and performance, etc. Let me know something Thanks

I'm sure others will pop in with their opinions, and if you look around theres a lot of people that swear by one brand of CAI or another, but there are a lot of people hear who have cheap ebay CAIs or homemade CAIs that work just as well as the $250+ namebrand ones.

I just installed a 77 series on my '05 4.7L, and it makes a noticable difference in performance, sound, and gas mileage. I got mine as a gift, but I saw them for sale on autoanything.com for around $240. now add a performance exhaust on that and you'll have yourself a slick pick 'em up truck.

Yea I went to a local dealer of mufflers and told him what I was interested in he wanted me to try out the 50 series HD. I told him I wanted as little sound and noise as possible. I want the higher flowing exhaust but with less sound. If at all possible I would love for my truck to sound almost exactly stock. I know this is going to be a tough thing to conquer. I am not into the loud pipes and sounds I am just looking for the higher flowing performance side of it. Any suggestions? and also I am going to get the dual exhaust comming out the right side like the srt-10

well i have a 07 and i installed the 77 series on it, i got it for like $250,i didn't see much of a difference in milage yet but i've been at work for 2 weeks now and haven't got to drive it, i've seen alot of people on here suggest leaving the stock resignator on to reduce the sound level and it won't restrict the flow, i have the 40 series and its really agressive sound.
