So after plenty of research and such. I joined this forum. Then bought my truck! V6 03 Ram. Yes! So lets me interlude on the rumors on my ram. The power... not that bad, really. Obviously not a race truck. But it IS quick, and can power up hills! Ha, if your looking for something to street race in... this is not a good truck. But if you want a truck that has get up and go and will pass with ease. Perfect! The gas milage in my opinion is awesome! Although my previous truck was an 88 ford bronco XL... Anything is better. And the look of my truck... effin sexy! I love it. Lemme know what you think.

 

Welcome to the forum and congradulations on your new purchase. I previous rides where a 96 nissan altima and a 2000 chevy blazer, but i have to say that the ram beats them all in terms of comfort. The truck is a good daily get around town truck in my opinion. If you are going to haul stuff on a frequent basis or live in an area with hills then a V8 would be a better choice. With that said, I have just got to my six month with the truck and love it.

Oh heck yeah. I mean eventually i want new wheels. Id like a cover for mpg. I already have cold air on there. I'm gonna put a dvd player in there. I'm ordering a powerwire soon. i thought about new gears, but i mean its a v6 so you can only mod out so much before its like whats the point. I mean shes quick. But i'd get thehemi. and then go mod crazy. Doesnt mean i cant do a little now. but not too much. I'm pissed you can't get headers for the 3.7, but oh well. I also want to put on exhaust. Something to sound more like a V8. Thats all I can think of right now.

 

Welcome. It sounds like the best exhaust in terms of sound is the IMCO. However I haven't been here for about a month so I'm not sure if anyone ever figured out the model number and size to get.
