Default instaled new speakers

i gota focal kp kit (crossovers tweeters and mid woofer) gotta deal on um cause theres no way on gods green earth that i am paying $900 bucks for um.

and it was tricky finding the right wires

i have a 07 dodge ram 1500 with the base package (not the infinity)

and the left wires were green yellow for possitive and green blue for negitive

and one the right the wires are the same in the door but it goes to a relay in the rubber wire harnes that goes to the cab from the door that turns the wires into grey yellow positive to grey blue for negitive

i put my cross overs in the kick pannels and it sounds nice

i dilled a 1.7 inch hole in the door near the top for the tweeters
and i made a custom faceplate out of mdf for the 6x9 to 6.5 converstion door mid woofer

then i said well screw it i think im going to do something original

so i painted the area around the cd player wight with this plastic paint. and it looks amazing(my turck is white so it matches)

i just taped everything off

man does it really put the style into the interior

im only 16 and i did it

so all yall that think that you cant do it

..your gay

just do it dont be scared

if yall want ill put some pics up of the faceplat convertion and the wight dash

jsut let me know

yes sir i painted that myself lol

purdy easy just took it off taped it off and sprayed it with plastic paint from autozone or o'ryles (or how ever you spell it)

and yes you can hook a amp up to a stock radio

all an amp does is amplify the signal that it recieves wether its just power or a sound wave

if you look on the back of an amp it'l have an input left and right and a power input (from the battery)

but if i were you i wouldnt do that straight up from the stock radio you get a dirty signal from your deck then your amplifying it to a bigger dirty signal

if you still want the stock look they have a car stereo prossesor that makes the sound crisp

but thats a whole nother wireing set up

i would just go with a after market deck (i prefer alpine) and wire it up
crisp sound then an amp would amplify the sound to after market specks (i prefer focal)
